DESCRIPTION:

Lesser galangal is a member of the ginger family, often confused with Greater Galangal due to its name. The flavor, however, couldn’t be more different! Lesser galangal has a sweet, earthy, “Chinese medicine” type smell. It is more suited for Chinese styled soups and broths, with some use in curries and similar sauces.
