Moringa, aka drumstick tree, is a fantastically nutritious plant with many edible parts. Its hardiness in dry areas has made it incredibly useful in arid regions. The "drumsticks" are the fruit from the tree and are often used in Indian curries, soups and boiled down for use as a yummy vegetable in numerous other dishes. The seeds, fruit, roots and new foliage are all edible and delicious. Here we sell both foliage powder and fresh foliage as a green vegetable. The taste is somewhat reminiscent of green beans with the mildest hint of spicy.
