Quinoa has now become a worldwide craze due to it being grain like, but not actually a grain and having a better protein profile. Adding a really nice texture to other grain and soup dishes. We sell the landrace strain from Taiwan, Chenopodium formosana. Quinoa of all types need to be soaked, and rinsed until the bubbles no longer form. Not rinsing quinoa will have a bitter taste.
