DESCRIPTION: |
White mustard seed is a spicy, pungent little seed bringing in essential bitterness and heat to many recipes. Most notably, mustard sauce where the seeds are ground, mixed with vinegar and turmeric for yellow color and allowed to age. The aging with vinegar helps to allow the bitterness to mellow. Mustard is also an excellent ingredient in modern Indian curry recipes and has found its way into baking, soups, spreads and numerous other concoctions. |
